MARAMUREȘ INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Concelex will carry out the expansion and modernization works of the passenger terminal at Maramureș International Airport. The new terminal will have a total area of 12,209 square meters, consisting of 6,706 square meters on the ground floor, 5,033 square meters on the upper floor, and 470 square meters for access and canopies.

The proposed investments aim to significantly increase the air traffic at Maramureș International Airport while enhancing the safety level of aviation operations. The development of Maramureș Airport’s infrastructure will contribute to the sustainable economic growth of Maramureș County and the Northwest Region. It will also improve accessibility to the area, ensuring efficient and fast transportation for both local residents and those traveling to the region. This will be achieved by offering a high number of direct flights to a wide range of requested destinations in Europe, meeting the standards of a European international airport.
