Concelex, one of Romania’s leading construction companies, has completed the structural consolidation, rehabilitation, and outfitting of the “Mihai Eminescu” building, part of the campus of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. The building has been transformed into a contemporary educational space, with integrated digital infrastructure and equipment that supports teaching, research, and administrative activities, following a total investment of 164.63 million lei.
Education needs spaces that inspire, not just function. We are proud to have revitalized a key academic landmark in Bucharest, through a project that reflects our long-standing commitment to educational infrastructure. It’s a consistent pillar in our portfolio, with works delivered for universities, high schools, and schools across the country,” said Cătălin Vișan, Deputy General Manager, Concelex.
Concelex carried out structural consolidation, functional reconfiguration, thermal rehabilitation, interior and exterior finishing, as well as full furnishing and IT equipment installation. The building was equipped with over 700 computers, 88 video projectors and an equal number of interactive whiteboards, sound systems in amphitheaters, electronic bulletin boards, and an info point.
